Ethics Point is a 3rd party service that we can either confidentially report various issues. You have the option to remain anonymous or add a name to your complaint. I currently have a complaint going thru the system in regards to one of the co-managers in my store. The complaint goes to the District HR rep for the managers-this stuff is taken seriously in my region!

No, lawsuits are taken seriously. Ethics point is a joke they use to have good publicity and pretend to care for the more easily manipulated employees.
Don't say anything to ethics points you wouldn't say to your store manager.
Kroger pays for this service, as in, ethics point is incentivized to side with the company on any matters and use the information you reported against you personally.
It exists only as a show of "willingness" to address problems before they hit lawsuits. If it does hit a lawsuit they can say "we did everything we could".
The third party nature is only to help distance the company and allow them to say "we didn't influence the investigation as it a preformed by a third party".
When you call ethics point, you are flagging yourself as a problem person, chances are, getting someone else in trouble, and informing the company how to better cover up it's illegal or unethical misdeeds.
Call the FDA, WEIGHTS AND MEASURES, HELL THE ****ING POLICE IF IT CALLS FOR IT.
report it to a unbiased regulator that isn't being paid by Kroger.
