honestly is it the case that you can't find a job that you like to go to
or at least where you dont basically dread every day
my co-workers are rude, i'm a pharmacy tech, i'm an easygoing guy and intelligent, maybe not the fastest but not particularly dragging my feet (unless it's to make a point)
the training is not very good, we have a few employees who know how to do stuff and then the rest just work there basically
i put in 40+ hours a week for a while and then now theyre cutting hours
i am not working at 8AM or 9AM or 10AM, even 11AM is early, i have been a closer for over a year stop trying to schedule me for morning, stop treating new people like they are better just because youre tired of me, or whatever the f*ck. i'm not a kiss @ss maybe this is why the pharmacists say whatever even tho they make like three or four times or even five times as much as a tech
yeah im b!tching and i know that im not fully capable of seeing things as they are outside of my perception
i go out of my way to learn different tasks besides cashiering but i still seem like i end up cashiering most of if not all day every day
i dont want to work in pharmacy because i dont want to dispense birth control or 'medical' bug spray
i would like to state my objection to selling such things (i know i have no right to prevent the sale but i dont want to be involved) on religious grounds but i am nervous about retaliation
i see myself as held by the balls until financial stability becomes manifest, i made too many bad decisions when i was younger, but damn i want to do something else even with a slight paycut
What really surprises me is that a customer hasn't complained (so far) about our store selling things like Take Action, Plan B, and another pregnancy interruption pill that I can't think of the name of. I don't have objections to such products but I am surprised a customer hasn't said something to one of the front end employees or customer service

You claim you dont kiss ass but you seem to be **** swallowing cause you do whatever they tell you. You mom should have been using birth control so she would have never spit you out

Then do something else. You can transfer departments if you want. Who cares about your religious feelings about certain medicines, if you are that strongly opposed to dispensing certain medications then why are you working in pharmacy?
Welcome to the wonderful world of grocery. It sucks as.s. Trust me it doesn't get any better. Save your money and get a college degree. Masters or higher will get you away from this sh.it..hole called Kroger. Kroger doesn't care about it's employees any more it's pretty damn obvious. First job where I've been treated like shi.t. for several years with zero promotional opportunities. First job where I've actually developed anxiety attacks because of how damn rude the customers are.

Go to trade school in something else that pays better and doesn't have customer service as your primary duty. You are in retail even though it is the pharmacy and next to maybe fast food, this is rock bottom in terms of employment satisfaction. "A monkey could do my job" That is what the people in the corporate office think. As far as the pharmacist making 5 times more than you, well they earned that with their 8-10 years of schooling that you didn't do.

But that's not fair. I should be able to get the same pay even if I didn't put forth any effort or spend any money on education. Believe it or not, there are many people who really feel that way. They were taught that everything is suppose to be handed to you.
