You're very likely fat and ugly and should be happy for any male attention you're getting. I see it with your type all the time. Old guys just having a little harmless fun, hell, they can't even get it up any more, they like to feel for just a few minutes they're still got some game.

Get over your funky self, service your customers, and be glad you have a job.

This with the statement "Be glad you have a job", on an "I hate Kroger" web forum.

Anyways, to the original poster: I am a Dude, but yeah it sucks being a girl, and Hot, but it's not just Kroger.... It's Everywhere. I've heard even worse in Waiting Jobs. Some people treat everyone like their own personal Hooters girl. Infact I kind of find it funny with all these "Stop Fat Shaming me" women on the internet that feel they need to be more appreciated, and have more attention when the truth is, they DON'T know what the "Attention" is that they play for. When you are hot, you don't only get "Hot Guys" coming up to you. Infact, you get every ****-horn that can't contain himself coming up. Even if only 2 in 20 Guys are freaking Stupid Wierd-o's (And that's the truth.. they are mostly stupid) then a pretty girl has to deal to those 2 every time. I know it sucks, but try to brace through it. Remember he can not do anything to you, and when he starts to get to personal, tell him "Yeah, Hey, um no that's a bit too personal". Take assertiveness with guys that are trying to hit on you when they are too stupid to know not too. You don't have to be rude, but the mousy " Um, hehe, well i don't know" kind of thing will just let them come back. When he says "I'm going to tell your manager you where rude", tell him "Good, and if he takes my side over how you've been acting, I'll gladly leave and find another job"..

...you'll probably find one better than Kroger.

In other words when he steps over the line ...then you step over the line. There is NO ONE that will say you shouldn't have.

You can say I'm uncomfortable and would rather keep our conversation strictly business and walk away. You need to let management and your union rep know what is going. You cannot get in trouble for asking someone to not harass you. Ive done this before. Don't allow this man to do this to you. Its disgusting.

How about a weird son of a female customer? The kid is what we call "special needs" and I told his mom I can't bag her order if her son insists on putting his hand down his pants and playing with himself-he was about to take out his junk one day and I said "that's it" and walked away

Also Im super disappointed to see so many people here apologizing for and defending creepy men's actions towards female employees. Its not appropriate and grocery stores arent places to pick up women.Employees are there to work, not entertain men. Go somewhere else or better, just leave women alone. These creepy old men are probably all married to so its super disrespectful to their wives.

I have men hit on me all day, everyday at work, it irritates and makes me feel uncomfortable and unhappy. I feel unhappy because I have men who come in with their families (wife included) or kids and still flirt with me. I often get tips from men like Im some whore from hooters. If you feel uncomfortable just leave the front end department or better yet F*** Kroger find a better job . The only reason Im at Kroger is because of the health and dental benefits
