Price scammers always know what they are doing but they act stupid. Sorry fellow customers but I see through all your bull now.  They try to trick you into price reduction and because we have to make it right I do.

The other day I had a regular hand me a reign check and ask me to price match another item. So I do. As that's what we're supposed to do. She price challenges it again. Through her mumbling and stories she can't keep right she basically wants 50% off the price and another 25% off of that. Her third story mixes with the first then the second with the first then oh, goodie a new lie that mixes in with the first three that she can't even keep straight. Please don't lie lady you're bad at it. After two minutes of talking I can't tell what she wants. Now she's as confused as I am. Customer service wise I can't tell her I know she's scamming the system. I know what you want dear I know exactly what you're trying to do but I can't tell you that in front of your face on the clock. Then she tries to challenge it some more. Then begins to wonder why I stopped helping her all together.  Sorry dear but you get handed off to the manager. I did everything right and you're still being challenging. You're not getting a $75 value order for $5.00 because that's all you can afford. I did every thing right and you still ended up telling me I didn't do my job right. Please find another individual to price scam. I respect you as a person but help me finish this sentence. I'm glad my store stands up to people and tells them no.

We have a woman like that in our store. She buys items-then tries to get a refund claiming that the price is wrong. Last time she did this our manager at the time told her the price was correct, and that she had to leave the store. She has been banned from several Krogers here in the Local 1996 (Atlanta) area

The thing is we have several customers scamming the system and I'm glad this store tells people know after a while. It's getting very disrespectful. The can's slightly dented even if the label just has a pin hole tear in it. Give me a discount. One berry is squished in a container give it to me for 75% off. Dam it you never got bulk fruit growing up did you you should damn know that bulk fruit generally has a few bad ones in it. This expired yesterday can I still buy it for 95% off. Give it to me for the damn price I think it should be. Even though I'm stupid and misread the tag above it and I'll throw a bitter tantrum if you tell me I'm wrong. God I'm getting sick of these foibles.

First company I worked for where while I do enjoy making it right at least once for good customer the regulars piss me off.

We get those all the time.  Trying to chisel a rule break for some crazy reasons of their own.

I guess they never purchased bulk fruit before and realized there's always going to be a bad apple in the group.
