It only took them about a year. If not longer!!! Those glass doors had been busted this whole time. Our cigarette area is not in the service desk in our store. No, it's in the middle of the front end, between the registers. And since there's no door (there used to be one, but that was busted a month after I started working here!) any goon can just walk in and take whatever cigs they want!
But now... they finally shelled out the money to fix the doors and get LOCKS for them!! We now have keys that we use to get cigs and such. Haha, good for them.

Well then pay for it yourself to get it fixed then. Man you sure are a Whiney faggot. i bet youd die for the store you work for if the time came for it.
Our cigarette case has locks, except there's two problems.
One, we have a a giant wicker basket of ancient weirdo markdown cigarettes and Zippo flints within stretched arm distance behind the service desk. We previously had them sitting openly and unprotected at SCO in a backwards donation bin in an attempt to "sell" them, but it didn't work. We are talking the kind of cigarettes that don't even sell at $3 a pack. Yeah.
Two, gross misconduct at the fuel center has resulted in dozens of cartons of soft pack and weirdo cigarettes ditched at the service desk in an attempt to disguise theft. They've "misordered" and stolen so many cigarettes that LP finally noticed and took action since employee theft is easy to prosecute. The problem is that every single lockable cabinet and shelf is jam packed full of unsellable junk cigarettes, so we just have dozens and dozens of cartons in unprotected cardboard boxes in the open behind the counter.
If a "customer" was paying attention, it would be real easy to grab them and run off with a few grand of stale crap cigarettes. I wish they would.
