I really hope this gets to someone in management in the 984 store in Bradley Illinois. The way the deli manager talks about her employees to customers and other staff is shameful. Her badge says fran or Francine , I listened to her go on and on belittling this employee there has to something done about this.

i know what you mean bro just last week manager in bakery was saying every where i ever worked black people never do more than the min. i not racist this coming from experience. ex. night stock indianapolis kroger black man named derek anderson been with the company almost 20 years shift from 9-5am he gets the min done stops at 4am. others are working till 6am sometimes. he leaves his aisles half assed sits gets the free hour till 5 ,30 minute breaks, breaks the toliet every week, leaves a mess behind, clutter carts and pallets, if items falls kicks it under etc. thats only him check out the ones you work with. have u seen any head stocks that are black. how many dept heads. kroger wont fire because of waffle house type laws. im not afraid to say it. i rather have mexicans working with me that cant speak english than a black man with 20 years exp. theres more but thats enough

I have two comments:
1) I hope someone at the Bradley, Illinois store sees this and the deli manager gets a good "talking-to". Not meaning she should get fired, but at least she should be reprimanded by management for her unprofessional belittling of employees in front of customers. Totally unacceptable.
2) Meanwhile, it is a shame that someone tried to derail this post by doing a COPY & PASTE of something unrelated........ that same racist paragraph that has been appearing on this forum dozens of times, for about 10 years or more. Heck, this DEREK ANDERSON of Indy is almost a celebrity now!! ........he has been mentioned so many times, thousands of people know his name!!

Thank you someone else who notices this too. I have the same issue at my store. I have one staff in my department who shows up just enough to pay bills and then slacks off the rest of the month. How the hell does a lead get a way with this? How? I have another that's sort of an @$$ hole to the customers and heavily talks down to people. No one gets punished and nothing gets done about it.
