I might transfer to a more professional store...

I might transfer out of my small store and transfer to a higher grossing one to get away from this. I transferred out of a bad situation (coworkers that just made my time hell) + several bad customers to get to a better store. Don't get me wrong 95% of the customers are down right awesome but it's the political side on the employee side I can't stand at my current store. I rarely complained online about my last store but good lord. I just can't stop. Management is so laid back his business motto is failing the store. I'm beginning to understand why this place can't hold onto staff. We're so short staffed we only have 3 courtesy clerks on staff, 5 regular cashiers who want full time, 6 that just want 20 hrs or so, frequently no one in seafood, understaffed meat, 3 produce clerks, 1 haba clerk, absent fes, overstaffed replenishment clerks, over staffed deli (most of them started in the front end and couldn't take it any more), understaffed bakery... This seems to be a normal Kroger trend now.

If there are employee relation problems no one seems to care and punishment is done all wrong. Please corporate come fix our store. I know what it's like to work at a cooperate store that expects the best but good lord help us out here. Fix this location. Please. I swear if employees show up to work they just get paid. It doesn't matter how little or how much you do.

No weapons well bear mace for my walks. I should probably get some human mace just to carry to and from my car. And just not tell any one. I'm an orange belt in martial arts and know how not to hit a person but at the same time could cause a lot of damage to some one. Words first. Defend second. Never throw a punch. Because if you attack the attacker could sue you for damages. Always defend. Sue the attacker and get a restraining order. That's my motto.
