Anyone else's Kroger send a cheese shop employee to New York? They're cutting people's hours, but they have enough money to send people out of state on a plane and book a fancy hotel room for two nights? What? I'm happy for the people who got to go, but when you have managers constantly understaffing stores to make their budget, it's kind of unfair to everyone else.
I doubt it is going to be a vacation trip. They are probably being trained to cut cheese in a 22 hour marathon training seminar. As soon as they get off the plane, they will be shuttled to a dimly lit hole in store front and then begin training for 11 hours.
They can write off the expenses at tax time.
Hey, They might even get to meet the top cheese for Murray.

I do not need to be trained to cut cheese. I do it everyday after I eat sometimes cut cheese all day depending on what I eat.
