You know, the ones who come in and install things on the registers and uscans, or put in devices in certain places, or fix the overhead monitors (like the ones that display quevision).

Ask one of them the next time they come into your store .And if you're done any shade-tree mechanical work then 50/50 chance.

A lot of them are independent contractors.  For example, it's Fujitsu techs who typically work on SCO.  I asked one of them one time about it, and he said a CompTIA A+ was good enough.

No idea about about anything else.

 That's interesting, cause I'm already A+ certified.

Just a question if you are A+ certified. Why are you working at Kroger? I myself know computers and can build systems. I can refurbish systems. But I am not sure if I started selling refurbished if people would care if I am A+ certified or not. I am self taught I learned things by figuring it out myself reading forums and googleing. I have thought about just trying to buy used systems and refurbishing them because there are people who buy used systems.
