Is it Kroger policy to ID everyone in group when only one of the group members is buying alcohol?
Is it Kroger policy to ID everyone in a group when one or all of them are interacting with the member who is buying alcohol?
The reason why I am asking this is because one particular cashier at the location I work at as a cashier does this even though none of us were trained to.
He tells customers that this is what Kroger Corporate Headquarters wants him to do.
The law here in Georgia states the *purchaser* of the alcohol must show ID. We have many adults coming in with their kids and we can't refuse to sell to them. If a purchaser has one of those vertical "Under 21" driver's licenses we must call a manager to verify the license before the sale is rung up
