We all know it. I run the Bistro UScan at my store and they barely have anyone to run it. They have like 4 people that can use Uscan, seriously. They dont schedule the people that can run it cause the front end gets no freakin hours, so they sometimes have a Deli clerk running it if theres no one else available. That is just ridiculous. Those Deli employees have a million other things to do, they should not be stuck watching the Uscan. And we're getting MORE Uscans at some point so its going to be even more of a disaster.
Kroger if you keep this up, people will be angry and shop elsewhere because there is no help, and they want most customers to use it and a lot of people just cant figure out how to use it on their own, they dont even know they're supposed to push Pay Now to pay and press Card to use their Credit/Debit card, there has to be someone to tell them to do it, thats literally most of what I do,seriously, tell people what buttons to press. If there was no one there, they just wouldnt do it and would probably walk out the door without paying or just stand there waiting for something to happen. It also means nobody to cover breaks for people running it.
Kroger is just going down, seriously. I can see it happening. They just arent a good grocery store,there is nothing unique or special about them. Prices arent low like they claim, they cant keep good employees because of low pay, and have major competition like Amazon and Walmart. They wont see this until its too late most likely.
Im gonna try my hardest to get out before that happens.

Amazon will pretty much put Kroger and Walmart 6 feet under in the near future.
