LOL they barely do it anymore. They had it for a while then probably stopped because they were giving away too much stuff for free.
Free Friday is dumb anyway its always some junk like candy and rarely anything good, its not even worth it.
TBH Im surprised they havent gotten rid of it completely, Ive been thinking they were trying to phase it out but every once in a while they have one.
Also Kroger is a business, they dont owe you anything for free, it exists to make money. Them giving something for free is a huge privilege they never had to do. Free Friday literally only exists to get people to use their app and make an account on it.
Where is the Free Friday Download? Is Kroger too inept to VALUE US?
Krogers dick is getting knocked in the dirt by Amazon. Kroger cant afford to give out free water bottles to customers let alone a 49 cent candy every Friday. They are cutting everything back now
Whats so big about that? Cutting training centers out, ditching uniforms, cutting free Friday, the delta contract negotiations lol youd have to read those proposal. This company should be gone within 10 years or less. They cant compete.
Exactly. If the can afford a jet, they CAN afford Kroger brand water and candy once a week. It WILL NOT hurt them. If they are so worried about costs then get rid of the damn jets you DON'T need that WE pay for via cutting of our hours..
I just love how the spot where we usually used to have our free friday download, now just has that stand with the poster advertising the free friday download, but the slot where you put in the extra paper that says what the free item is, is empty.
So this poster is there, reminding customers that yeah, remember how we used to have the FFD, well, too bad cause you're not getting one this week, or next week, or the week after that, and after that, hahahahaha.
Our customers abused the FFD's like crazy. Some customers would have a deck of shopper's cards and ring up FFD's a dozen or two, one by one at SCO until you stopped them. Considering the overwhelming apathy of Kroger employees, they usually got away with it. I don't think there has been a single time where we weren't sold out of the FFD by noon unless it was a crap item. Thing is, we seem to be at the tail-end of the distribution chain. A third of the time, we never got the item at all. And if it's an item our store doesn't carry, it's probable that we just never got it and never will.
In no way has it improved sales for a single one of the FFD items. It's a ****ing disaster of a program because our customers are trash.
If anything, I would say that Kroger values them too much, but in the wrong ways.
