It's been that way ever since they implemented key retailing ten years ago.  Ever since then it's been one useless program after another in an effort to try to completely automate the stores so anyone off the street can come in and be paid minimum wage to do things like make out schedules, put on orders, and figure out daily production for things like chicken from the deli and baked goods from the bakery.  As of now, E-Schedule, CAO, and CAP all require human thought and input in order for them to work, which means they're basically useless.

So. ..it's called GIVE, GATHER, GO. We must have samples of the meat of the week pre-sliced and in a container. This week is that awful aloha turkey. First thing we do when customer walks up is ask them to try a sample. (the give). then we write down their order (the gather)..and send them to shop if they so wish. (the go). no more going back and forth showing slices, because we have already got that on the written order how they want it sliced using the new slicing guide that will be displayed. ugh. i hate it.
