I am concerned about privacy issues = it's none of anyone's business what my BMI or other info is. Concerned it could be used against someone if they got into some kind of dispute with Kroger

I'm the same as you when it comes to privacy. They may tell you it's confidential, but if they really want to know your information, they'll find a way. Anyway, I've never done the screening and I still get health insurance. You don't get as good a program: higher rates, higher co-pay, etc but you still have insurance. I'm in the Louisville division and I believe our plan is with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. There's three different plans: Standard, Enhanced, and Premium. I'm in the Standard plan
The Biometric does not really record anything that is too out there. Its more to open your eyes to your health and get you visiting a health professional. While I understand people want to keep everything private, in today's world.......anything can be looked up with someone has the ability. Remember everyone is in the same boat....
Pharmacist assured me that the company would not learn my results. If it was anything I felt I really needed to treat as a medical record I would have had to take a pass. Wondered about the cheek swab for the pre-employment drug test too. Why can't I have a copy of the consent agreement crap? Sneaky hoods.
Had to take the drug test before I was hired 6 years ago/ What drugs are they looking for? I have never tried anything illegal-not even a regular cigarette
I say in a up coming contract, they will base our weekly rate we pay off how well we do on health screening. They just testing the waters right now to see how we all look, and what
options they can get from the Insurance Companys based off results of the workers.
