Depends on your division/contract.

ExpressHR will tell you when you personally are scheduled to receive a pay raise, but as to whether or not you get one before that, it again depends what's happening in your division and with the union that represents your area.

In my division, I've heard rumors of dollar raises across the board but I don't believe it.

Union cronies recently came by to beg me to join up and they didn't mention anything of the sort.

If anything, it's cuts and losses to the point of strike risk.

Here in Local 1996 land our contract isn't up for about 1 1/2 years but there is already strike talk and our union rep seems to think it is headed in that direction

In our area over a year ago, Kroger wanted to raise starting wages for new employees and a bump for others to be more competitive with other grocery stores. They did so in the non union stores. However, the union would not let them raise wages in the union stores. It was in the contract that the union had to approve increases. The current contract was expiring in eight months. My guess is the union wanted to get credit for the increases. So, for eight months employees could have been getting more money. How much did they get with the new contract? What Kroger had previously wanted to do. The union stores who had non union stores relatively close were losing new hires to the non union stores because starting wages were a dollar an hour higher. Kroger might be evil, but sometimes the union is just as evil. How do I know? I applied at a union store and was told wage. I had a friend who told me to go to the non union store because I could get a dollar more. I did and got hired. I kept asking questions about why the difference and found out the answer from someone in the union store.

We are getting Union raises with the new contract. .25 for overnight, another .25 next year and then it will be a $1 in 2021. So overnight will be an extra $2 then. On top of that it's .45 a each year of this contract. But with the raised union dues, higher medical and less hours it means nothing.
