Vacation paid out upon quitting
Permalink

Hello, friends. My last day with Kroger is next Saturday (thank goodness), and I was wondering if your unused vacation and personal days for the year are paid out upon your leaving. I wrote it on our stores transmission log but haven't heard anything else since. Thank you, guys! biggrin

You need to tell the accountant/payroll clerk to pay out your unused time. You MUST be proactive about this or they might forget, otherwise it's up to them to remember to pay it out for you.

If you just up and quit you dont get personal days. For vacation days i had to call a different number KMA office.

Yes your vacation days will be cashed out immediately or upon last paycheck. Don't forget to cash out your personal day. It just expires you don't get it back. It's use it or loose it.

Don't forget your sick pay. "Start calling out and filling out over rides." If they let you. What else do you have to loose? Don't abuse the privilege though or it'll be obvious.
