Any other stores get a cleaning robot/ Zamboni?

Not too long ago my store got a cleaning bot which can be done manually but they prefer it to be done on robot 80% of the time. Is this widespread? If other stores got this, what is your experience with it? because I find the auto mode a pain since it can't do anything aside from pre-programmed routes (This is terrible for any time outside of a completely empty store as the bot has a hard time navigating around most obstacles not present in the route, such as pallets, boats, and customers).

its sh!t like everything Kroger implemented: everything gets swept underneath tables, floors are worse than before, machine only last 3 hrs on a charge, produce stickers get left on floor and caked on, more work for day time maintenance worker to scrape it off the floor.

I honestly can't say we have enough ice on the floor for a zamboni.OP is your store management trying to turn your store into an ice rink without telling the employees?

We had one but it didn't last very long. If it ran into an obstacle and didn't know how to get around it, it would just shut down and leak all over the floor. Like many things Kroger tries to implement, it's a good idea that was poorly executed.

We've have one and it gets used a lot.
It's weird to watch it navigate around customers in auto mode.

There are many robots which can clean your house for you and they are really widespread. However, it is not easy to choose a good one. I suppose that reading reviews would be really useful in this case. By the way, these sources tell me which robots are good and which are bad.

Ha!  I swear my coworkers do a crappy job so I have to find someone else to do floors.  I am out of people that can keep up with the intelligence of the machine.....

No but the person who programmed the machine can.

My local walmart uses one.  A person has to set it up, water, etc. then as long as an obstacle doesn't make it lose its mind it is good to go for a couple of hours.  It is better than having a moody floor cleaner employee in there giving you crazy looks because you still have stock on the floor.
