So has anyone actually seen this yet? Or heard about it? I'd love to see something like this for us baggers too on the ends.

With looking at the images on the news they don't seem to be big enough. While its nice not to be face to face, a square piece 4X4 isn't going to really change anything.

I dont get what this is even going to do but I do welcome the idea of some kind of barrier between the customer and the cashier for personal space reasons.

Small safety screens won't do anything, I guess it's better than nothing, but it's not enough to stop germs from spreading. And, it's a little too late. This should have been done a month ago.

Amazing. Bitch and cry when they do nothing and now they at least do something and still bitch about it.

Nor are the masks and gloves that everyone insists on wearing. Masks aren't remotely airtight, and everything you touch with a glove would still need to be wiped down as you take them out of your grocery bags and onto your home shelves, for those to make any sense. It's like those idiots that, even before all this, wipe down their grocery cart handles and then proceeded to grab all the dirty store items with their bare hands and put them into their dirty carts. You can't get away from germs, people.

My store just informed me of these. IT's a total joke unless they place it on the whole stretch of the  check stand.

Can you make that big? It's too small.

It's a joke unless you put the checker in a ventilated-but-filtered cube with sealed rubber arms sticking out of it. Everything about taking small precautions is a complete waste of time and money. If you're truly worried about getting sick, quit your job and move back in with your parents, then none of you leave the house.
