I'm not sure if Kroger has any policies regarding employee rights during a pandemic, but shouldn't employees be given the option to stay home until things go back to normal? Not only are we exposing ourselves, but we are also exposing our families when we come home. I know most employees would be willing to stay on, and take the risk, because they need the money. But it seems like Kroger should at least ask their employees if any of them would like to take a leave of absence until they feel safe to return to work. How does everybody else feel about that? Shouldn't that be an available option?

 you are able to take a leave if you feel the need to

It's a hard question as grocery stores are basically the backbone of normal life. It would be interesting to see if they could turn walk in stores into delivery/warehouse style places for cases like this. I know the walmart in my area has been limiting their open hours for restocking and public safety.

For many people it's not really an option to stay home but for those that feel like they might be getting sick or can't do the work - call off and stay safe. Don't let yourself be pressured to work while sick.
