No sympathy for people who leave behind groceries then be an @$$ about it.

Lately I've had no sympathy for customers leaving grocery bags behind then acting like self centered @$$ holes regarding the said incident. I have no sympathy for your self negligence, arrogance and @$$ holiness. Grow up and act like adults! Good god most of you people are in your 50-60+'s and act like a two year old throwing a tantrum tantrum to get your way. It's not our fu-c-k-en fault you forgot your damn groceries. My store has almost a zero percentage range for left behind bags by employees. The only items that get left behind are the items that roll into the corner of the check stand or underneath the impulse items to buy on the check stand. The only time bags are left behind is when customers do the bagging.

If you choose or are forced to bag your own groceries and forget a bag well that's your own f-u-c-k-en fault. If you accidentally forget a grocery bag due to self negligence well then that's your own f-u-ck-en fault whether it be in parking lot or inside the store. Don't be an immature self centered @$$ hole regarding left behind groceries. Instead here's how to handle it professionally:

Suck up and admit fault. Call the store. Tell them professionally that you left groceries behind. Give a list of what you left behind. We'll reshop for you if you want or you can get them your self. If you're too chicken to shop then we'll reshop for you and bring them out to your car or the manager will. Please stop acting like immature self centered @$$ holes over left behind food. It's not the f-u-ck-en end of the world. If it were you'd people be planting gardens to give you a more sustainable food source.

This can all be handled in a professional manner people! Do you want to find your self without service next time you come in? I've started denying people service if their @$$ holes to the extreme. So watch your self next time you decide to chew out an employee or two.

If a customer goes through a regular checklane, the checker is responsible for making sure the customer gets all their groceries regardless of who does the actual bagging.  It's part of the transaction.

WRONG. cashier is no responsible for that and certainly not now. Bring your own bags now? then you bag it yourself and make sure you get your ****. As of now cashiers and baggers dont have to do **** when they bring their own bags.

Actually, yes in a way. The checker can remind a customer they are about to leave a bag behind. And if a bagger is placing all said items into a customers cart, then the bagger and cashier must make sure all items are in the customers cart before he leaves.

If the customer bags their own groceries, then they are responsible for making sure they get their groceries, but still remind them and ask if they got everything just to be courteous when I am working front end.
