I would like to thank everyone of you all that are still working and find it unbelievable that kroger is NOT giving you extra pay and supplying you all with PPE.

Im in a small town with a Jay c store In indiana instead of kroger, they get their  groceries from kroger warehouse.

Do you all have stuff in the warehouse? Our store is staying empty even when I shop during the senior shopping time.

Thank you and please please be careful!

I agree. They really need to step it up to protect their biggest asset, the employees (I know they say it's customers, but without employees, there would be no product for customers to buy).  It angers me that they even stay open even though checking out requires people to come into the recommended social distancing space.  I'm sure people would misuse any PPE kroger would provide.  I was at the deli today and thought "what if this person slicing my meat, has the covid or whatever and a drop drips down from her nose?"  She may not even notice it.  Seems like there ought to be a plexiglass sneezeguard over the slicer anyway regardless of the virus.  I don't want no stray boogers dropping onto my meat!

Anywho, re: do we have stuff in the warehouse?  I wonder the same thing and have come to this conclusion:  Kroger stores in the cities that have warehouses likely get priority to thing like TP and other in demand items; just my guess.  There is a high demand for certain products right now so things will be empty as the warehouse can limit what we actually get, regardless of how much is ordered.  This works in both ways:  We get tons of **** we didn't order, nor do we want/need and they also keep us from getting stuff we actually order.

I hope that answers your questions
