We should not have to touch the timeclock that 200 other people touch every day. Not safe at all! Please don't shrug it off and tell me to wash my hands(I do) or wipe down the clock(I do), or use sanitizer,(I do), so our union should protect us and have an alternate way to track our working time. Thanks!

Then just work for free or quit.

Quit then or go on vacation, there are other jobs out there.I'm not worried about the coronavirus one single bit. I don't get scared of people being close to me and I don't wash my hands any more than I did 6 months ago.I go on with my day as normal while I watch all the paranoid shoppers buy everything on the shelf and then I ring them up.People like OP need to stop overreacting.

Just wash your hands whenever you use the time clock. That's what I did. And I will continue to do so when I return to work off my vacation.

if it makes you feel any better I usually pick my nose but mostly pick my butthole before i use the time clock. It gives my finger a little grease to clock in easier

I don't care about people catching it from me.I don't have anyone who actually cares about me anymore, not even a friend, so everyone on earth could catch it and I still would not care.If i get it,I'll come into work like normal. If I'm on my deathbed from it I still will not give a ****.My life doesn't matter to me or anyone I know.

What you don't want to get paid? You'll get written up if you start using paper over rides daily.

Big deal wash your hands and don't touch your face.

Well, how about this, smarty??? What if I, a total stranger cared about you and your life...THERE, I've said it!!! You may not think your life matters, but guess what??? It matters to at least ONE person now, so that's something!!! You said you don't have ANYONE who actually cares about you, but now you have ONE! So, I propose this...Since ONE person at least cares about YOU...YES, YOU...How about you pass it on to someone else and care about someone else now and maybe they'll pass it on to someone and we can get rid of apathy forever??? It's worth a try, at least and better than nothing! Anyone with me on this???

By the way, if everyone just washed their hands and did the full 20 seconds, there would be A LOT LESS to worry about in the world than we already have to worry about! I wash my hands anyway, just as a general rule, but seriously, people, it's NOT that complicated...We're NOT talking rocket science here and it's one of the simplest things we can do to prevent disease!

Hate to break it to you stupid but millions WILL contract this disease. Its very easy to catch social distancing only helps so much. You will most likely catch it.

Which is why I am wearing my facemask irregardless of anyone's opinion, gloves (frequently changed), washing and sanitizing hands often, and insisting on keeping a 6 ft or more distance much to the chagrin of certain 'close contact' type customers.
