Bonus checks taxes are different for everyone?

Me and 4 other full-time employees at my store received our bonus checks yesterday and were talking to eachother and found out that we all received a different amount after taxes? The one who received the most ended up with around $260 and the lowest with $210 ,and me and two other people are at varying amounts between those two .Is this right?

Depends on your local tax rate and how much you were having taken out of your paycheck. It will all even out when you do your taxes next year

Mine was in between but the way I see it is I still got extra money. Couple that with overtime on the regular check and there you go.

Mine was about 243. Depends on the town you live and/or work in too. I live in a different town than most of my coworkers in my department, for example. I live in the next county over so my tax rate would be different.

Mine was $250-ish.

It's weird that they went by average hours worked instead of the "full time" vs "part time" shenanigans I expected.

I wonder who got fired for that.
