My Fantasy - Tell me if you like it!

"My Fantasy" (as a Kroger employee who is SICK AND TIRED of thoughtless customers who CONSTANTLY  leave stuff in random places all over the store) :

Imagine that by some theoretical, top-secret magic, EVERY TIME a customer leaves a grocery item in a completely inappropriate place, such as a package of sirloin steak  on the "banana bleachers" in produce,  or a fresh head of lettuce in the frozen section, or a package of weiners on the table with bags of potatoes, or a carton of ice cream next to the gallons of bleach,  EVERY TIME a person starts to leave the item there, they suddenly have the intense sensation of a very sharp pin prick (think those little colored plastic push pins) struck in their butt.  The pain is sharp (harmless, but startling) and hurts enough to cause an audible scream.

Imagine that you would hear a screech from here, and there, and here and there........all over the store, about one per minute, on average (in a crowded store with hundreds of customers). OUCH, screamed a young girl in the dairy dept.  EEEEK! yelled a woman in the bread aisle.  OUCH!! shrieked a man in the meat dept who threw his package of american cheese next to the packages of ground beef.  "OW, that hurt!! " yelled an old woman in the produce dept who had just placed her unwanted cherry pie next to the grape tomatoes.

The screeches, yells, cussings, hollerings and shrieks would continue sporadically all day and night, from locations all over the store.

It would take a few weeks, but they would start to LEARN: DON'T BE SO STINKIN' LAZY!!!!!!   PUT IT WHERE IT GOES!!!!

Sounds good to me...I'll go even one further...What if an alarm or siren went off every time someone placed an item in the wrong place and a big voice boomed over the loudspeakers..."As a courtesy to our employees, please return all items to their rightful places if you do not intend to buy them...and this...means...YOU!!! Thank you so much for shopping at Kroger and have a nice day!!!" biggrin

And when they're picking grapes out of the bag to eat or tossing cherry pits around, the voice would then go "I SAW THAT!!!"

I guess some people never learned anything from their parents...Now, WE'VE got to be the parents and pick up after them!!! "How rude???!!!", as one might say...

Mine would be they put something in an inappropriate space or eat crap their not supposed to and immediately get an invisible hard slap across the face with a loud voice only they can hear saying I'm watching you behave yourself.

Kroger is such bull**** with theiir zero waste. People who leave meats out should be chased down and told you need to pay for this even if its bad or spoiled to bad you put it anywhere it went to waste you have to pay for it. Tired of these *******s thinking were mr Belvedere and were here to clean after them.

I work in produce, and, honestly, I feel that far too much of my workload is CLEANING, PUTTING BACK STUFF,  AND STRAIGHTENING UP AFTER SPOILED KIDS,  ALL DAY LONG!!  I would hate to see the inside of some of our customers' houses.

Working in Fuel, my fantasy is putting a couple grand on every pump, zip tying the handles so they flop around like snakes vomiting pure gasoline (and diesel), and then just shooting at customers and traffic with a road flare in one hand and a pistol in the other until SWAT stops me or the whole place goes up.

With the PD a mile down the street, that's at least an hour or two until I even light the first flare.  I'll probably need an entire case or two of flares before they stop by, honestly.

I'd never do it because I still have a couple decades of alcoholism left.  I mean, I barely even got the shakes.

You see the way that bottle of rum was looking at me?  Oh baby...
