More BS in the Local 1996 Atlanta GA area

Even more BS today in the Local 1996 area. Our FES is now telling us we can only say "Hello" and "Thank You" to customers. This is BS-I will talk to customers as I normally do. Also that d*** rainbow heart is on the floor at the entrance to our self-checkout area. There is also a large banner with our new store manager's photo and apparently his personal cell number (not the store phone number) that says "If you have an outstanding or less than outstanding experience in the store, I want to know about it." ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!!!!!! Is this going on in your store too?

 If you're a man call corporate and have your gf tell em this guy was pushing his personal number on her. Have her put in some gooshy details as to what he said he'd do to her if he got her alone ... Bet that stops THAT s*hit, any way lol

"Thank you."

"No what kind of smoked ham do you have??"

"Hello?"

"Why do you keep saying hello?"

"Thank you."

Again a FES trying to do the right thing, yet not understanding people need to be people and have personality. You should get 2 buttons and record "Hello" and "Thank You" into them, then just hit the button. If your wearing a mask, the customer isn't going to know you didn't physically say it. Just make sure your making eye contact when doing it. I'm sure your FES will be speechless and throw a fit.

Amazing and funny/sad.  There was a rule floating around here years ago that only managers can say "no".  So just call on one of your stock of patient and available managers when idiots make crazy demands.  Turns out you are allowed to say things like "I'm terribly sorry I can't I am not allowed".
