Vibenomics' music service used by Kroger is slowly driving me insane! STOP interrupting each song!

Vibenomics is a mess.  90% of the songs are interrupted at least once, sometimes twice, to tell us these shockingly "important" announcements that have already been played tens of thousands of times over the last 6 months. (All customers, associates and vendors must wear a mask when shopping or working in our stores.....).  When the song suddenly goes silent, there is that annoying sound effect, then the announcement starts, it is SO irritating........this music service  practice is unprofessional, neurotic, chaotic, stupid, and thoughtless.  This kind of thing would be totally UNTHINKABLE if the song was being played on a regular radio station. And if you defenders say something like "this is not a radio station, it is a grocery store and no one cares about that", I would say "Yeah, and what about the sanity and mental well-being of tens of thousands of Kroger employees across the country that are forced to hear this kind of choppy, disorganized and disconnected noise for 8 hours straight?"

Many of the songs played over the sound system are TERRIBLE examples of "music".  But that is besides the point...... it isn't normal for any song to be interrupted suddenly and erratically, with no apparent rhyme or reason.  It goes against the purpose of the background music which is supposed to be a soothing or comforting "background wall of sound" to enhance the shopper's experience in the store. Instead, it is just JARRING.  When is someone going to do something about this BULL CRAP???

If everybody that reads this would copy this and paste it in to send it to corporate office. Maybe that would change things.

I don't know what Walmart uses, But they are now blasting music outside they have speakers outside. I sure hope Kroger does not follow. If I lived close to a Walmart I would complain about the loud music. My local Kroger has a residential area behind the store so I don't think they would put speakers outside. They complain enough already about the compactor smell. Some of that smell comes from the runoff the water off the building and water from the parking lot.

I know restaurants that blast their music outside of their establishments at loud volumes and it's just plain annoying to everyone who passes by...Sometimes, you can have TOO MUCH of a good thing and it only creates more hostility...Oh, and by the way, the one thing about Vibenomics is that the volume of their stream, at least in my store, is so low, I can't hear what anyone is saying anyway, even the pages, so maybe a blessing there...ISAN was no better...You can be cheap, but sometimes, too cheap isn't good, either...

I honestly feel like the music system that kroger uses it uses for the following reasons:

1.  They got it on the cheap and some high up idiot felt it better than no music at all, which I disagree with.

2.  They use it as a brainwashing technique to try and run long service employees off because it is just another annoying thing they use to make employees jobs intolerable.

3.  They have a screened checklist of songs they play 25 times a day because they have determined that nothing "offensive" is in these songs to warrant a customer complaint or lawsuit.

If you are fortunate enough to work on the 3rd shift, you can wear earbuds and listen to what you want.  I really feel for the dayshift.

When I went to Kroger this morning I heard a loudspeaker from somewhere. It was not music it was just an announcement Attention Employee's. I just shook me head and ignored the rest. It was the same voice I heard one day on my scanner that was picking up the walkie talkies. And I forgot all about that coming over the scanner "Attention employee's new order" I think it was something to do with Click list orders.
