Looks like something weird happened when Kroger reported their vaccine shot numbers (at Kroger stores in Kentucky) to the government. The total numbers of people who received the vaccine in Kentucky was accidentally duplicated in about 250,000 cases, resulting in more recorded than in reality.

But, how come it only happened with Kroger? Strange, but the state of Kentucky isn't going to blame Kroger for anything wrong.  There are some "tiny details" that are not quite making sense here, but isn't that typical nowadays????

I hate people who post articles like this that have no clue.

This website allows you to log in and check your vaccinations. The government has always had your vaccination records on file. Kroger pharmacies must communicate vaccination records to your government so they can put them in your file.

Hell, its not complicated to see what might have happened. If people had to get 2 shots, it understandable that someone simple reported the number of shots instead of the number of people. If this is the worst thing.....why would anyone complain? Its a reporting indicated that effects no one, hell its not like the percentage really changes anything. People need to remember not everything is a conspiracy or something that someone can sue someone over.

You must not have read the entire article. Obviously there IS something weird here because we are talking the mis-count of about a QUARTER OF A MILLION people, and it only happened with KROGER information, not any other companies.

I think this mess was probably caused by one person. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been statewide. There's probably one person who is in charge of compiling all the data and sending in the report. If there was more than one person compiling the data, then the mistake would have been caught. Another possibility, and again this would be the fault of one person, is the people in the individual stores were all taught the wrong way to count vaccinations.
