And the women who buy Marlboro, if they are over the age of 40, have premature "crepe" wrinkling, a sickly gray look to their skin, hoarse voices, poorly dyed/bleached and ugly-looking hair (looks like they slept on the couch and didn't look in the mirror before going to the store), and smell like dirty ashtrays?

Anyone who buys tobacco products is a jerk. This is why tobacco is labeled as a drug. It's highly addictive and it alters people's mind states. Most people can't stand to wait for it the minute they decide to go buy it or have the funds to go buy it. Then they're @$$ holes about it.

The whole situation with smokers and cigarettes is so sad........ and I am totally serious, I'm not being sarcastic. It is really, really sad. And I 'll tell you one thing that I just don't understand.
Why do I see so many homeless (or borderline homeless) or otherwise "out of luck people" who walk down the street and they are obviously mentally ill or homeless, or something is wrong with them, and they SO OFTEN have a cigarette in their mouth, sucking away???
In fact today, just this afternoon I just saw a scraggly guy with a nasty dirty looking beard that was dragging a cart of some kind, loaded down with scrap metal that he was taking to the recycling place (scrap yard) to get some cash for his scrap. I think he is homeless. And wouldn't you know it - he had a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. 9 times out of 10 they always seem to.
Where do they get the money to WASTE on cigarettes and, in effect, keep trying their best to come down with cancer and die an early, horrific, and painful death??? Are they picking up discarded half-smoked butts off the ground??? I don't get it.
