For the second time my schedule was altered after noon Saturday which is the deadline for emergency changes. They have me working six straight days and of course nobody has said anything to me (i got the alert from the ukg app). Plus the person that added me is the former grocery manager who is now tied to another store and works at the district level. I'm not a member of the union and the union rep here is garbage so what are my options? I was thinking just don't show up on the day they added and if there is a problem then whatever they do is what they do. I don't plan on working for Kroger much longer anyways but I don't want to just find myself without health insurance. I'm fulltime btw.
Read the scheduling rules in your contract. They can do this if there isn't enough help. If store is failing to honor 48 hrs notice to schedule change, file a union greivance asap! If you don't like your union rep contact ufw and request another rep. I've done that before.
