Why are they still bringing strawberries and theirs been a recall? Like I thought they was pulling them out but nope I come to my department (produce) and they was putting it in.

Maybe the new strawberries are from a different batch.  Anyway, store bought strawberries have not been good for years.  I noticed the change when they switched from the kind that were packed in those litttle plastic badkets to the Driscoll's  in the sealed plastic containers.  Strawberries are not supposed to be crunchy.  They also taste green.  I don't mean sour.  I mean green as in unripe.

The recall was only on ORGANIC strawberries, and on only certain brands. This affected strawberries that were sold / distributed in  March and April of this year.  It was literally months before this was reported nationwide. Any of the organic strawberries in question are either in your FREEZER or were discarded many weeks ago.

 

Of course, the media only reports what they have been told (if that) and no matter how late or unreliable the information is.

 

This calls for reading IN DEPTH articles, not relying on headlines that are about one or two sentences long and then feeling you are informed.
