Anybody else department be empty around 11am-1pm?

Produce department be empty with no workers and Im left alone so I usually leave the area and help front end out.

PRODUCE is empty?? 

Something bein fked up there. That and meat are the hottest depts in grocery retail confuse

Well, if you're there, then the department isn't empty. Here in the bakery department we're down to just three 40-hour people plus a person who works four hours a week and a person who works one 8-hour day a week. That's 132 hours. We need a minimum of 320 hours. If you want the department to run well, then we need 336 hours. With just three people working regularly, it is common for someone to be by themselves either all day or at least part of the day. My advice is to do your assigned task but don't let management know you know how to do anything else. If they know you can do something else, they'll expect you to do it all the time.

 I worked many years for another retailer and played the retard card religiously. Any time they would approach me with some extra I'd be like 'Ok..I know you just explained this several times already, but can you go over it again, please? I'm still confused.' Pretty quick they'd be like 'OH Christ, never mind!' and go find someone else lol
