If you return an item: I just throw it out.

I can not tell you how many returns I throw out daily. Even if it looks good and could go back on the shelf. I don't trust returns. Our rules say what we can and can not put back on the shelf but I don't give two fu--cks about it now. I can not tell you how gross people are. I just chuck it.

I don't trust the sanitation of people's homes.

I don't trust the sanitation of people's cars.

I don't know where it's been, how long it sat in your homes before you people returned it.

I can not tell you how many people clean out their cupboards and return items that are expired to the store and you've had them for months on end. I

don't care I throw out all returns! People are so gross and half of society doesn't wash their hands after using the bathroom.

Now that we know that you're doing that, we're going to be watching.  If we see you throw away something perfectly good, we're going to report you to management and have you fired for destruction of store property.  Besides, if you're that worried about other people's cleanliness, I suggest you produce your own food.  Afterall, everything you select in a grocery store has probably already been touched by dozens of other people.  Some of them might even have germy hands.

I've personally witnessed refrigerated/frozen returns being returned to the shelf. It may be corporate policy not to do that but it's done regularly.

Are these actual returns or are they items that customer decided they didn't want and were too lazy to put the item back where it belongs?

If I owned a business where people didn't need to have their cell phones to do their job, I would tell each new hire that if they use their phones or any other personal electronic communication device while on the job, they will be fired without warning.  The only exceptions would be if your house is on fire or some other type of major disaster or someone you know has been in an accident or someone has died.

It really annoys me when I put in a full day's work and someone spends an hour doing a task that should only take 15 or 20 minutes because they were spending most of their time talking or texting on their phones.  Not wanting to be call a hypocrite, I'll admit I do have a cell phone, but all it does is make and receive calls.  Also, I've only used it a couple times.  I used it when my home phone went out and I had to call for a repair.  I also used it to call AAA when I had a dead battery.  Other than that, if people want to reach me, they have to call me on my home phone.

Yup got these people at my work as well. Its one thing to listen to music but you can clearly see some of them texting, watching a video or playing fartnite. Night manager has told all of us in a quick meeting do not use cell phones unless its a emergency or you listen to music. Hes pretty. Ive about it but hes getting annoyed about suck things. Pretty hilarious when hes off and the people in for that night are just breaking all kinds of rules. On the phones, taking longer breaks, not working the over heads and this is a off night too so.. we have this fat black guy that will wear crocs even though he has been told not too. Its very disgusting seeing his dirty ass feet hearing those poor shoes squeak every step he makes as if they were crying for help.

I'm with you on the phone thing as my phone doesn't even get Internet...Just calls for the most part and that's it! Apparently, it's NOT that smart! And they have to call me at home to reach me or leave a message, because when I am busy and/or out running errands, I don't like to be interrupted, so I turn the phone off or on occasion, leave it in the car or don't even carry it around...Of course, when I take a trip somewhere, I know all the places where the cell phone service is spotty at best, if existent at all...and yes, there are places like that out there, so it wouldn't matter WHO called for whatever reason...It's going to go to message anyway, because I literally CAN'T receive it...In any case, if you have people who are spending all their time on their phones and you're upset about it, then you might want to place the blame on those who should be enforcing a policy who CLEARLY are NOT! And those employees KNOW they can get away with it and do! In my case, though, it seems the longer I live, the gladder I am that I DON'T have a smartphone! It's too distracting and I HATE distractions!
