Requiring that people accept employment with any company that is available, like this a$$h0le kroger, in order to get government food assistance that just seems bad. If you don't accept that part time job with an abusive $h!t company you will be even worse off. ????!

Exactly. You want stuff, you WORK for it. D@mn...even in the good old days people WORKED for what they had. EVEN if they got goods by trading, they WORKED to get the item so they could trade it if they needed to.
But like in the old days, those who didn't work and tried to steal from others got dealt with.
Looks like the "debt ceiling" NS is getting squared away at last. Could be worse. If they vote it up single persons who are not yet homeless will need to fulfill a work requirement to qualify for food aid.
No matter how bad things get, you dom't need to apply to work for the Kroger family of stores. Respect yourself. Do better.
