Not sure about you but I'm not to thrilled about a company with the name piggy in it buying our company. Only time will tell if it is worthy of holding up to kroger's standers. I honestly don't have much honor in representing a company that has the name piggy wiggy in it. Might be time to turn my aa into a ba.
Kroger and Albertson's sold 400 stores to Piggly Wiggly in order to get the FTC to approve the merger. They did not sell the company. Incidentally, Piggly Wiggly has been around since 1916. They were the first self-service grocery store and the first to provide shopping carts for customers. They're mainly in the South.
