I can not tell you how many times it would of been nice to go in for a few hours if you're sick, not feeling well or 100%. Then leave once you've hit your limit. No! This company makes it very clear all your shift or none of it! Guess that loss is on them. I only hope that my bug starts going around the store. You sort of nailed your self in the foot with this one kroger. We need more than 2 days off before requiring a dr note. Annoyingly this is one of the few companies I've worked for that does not have on call waiting staff. No you're too cheap to pay for a program like this so you'd rather have the department not staffed.

Ok on the down low. You can get an Intermittent Medical Leave of Absence form filled out by your doctor, and file it with HR for medical intermittent issues that might be chronic. Migraines. Inflammation issues, like GOUT, acute sciatica, anyway stuff that repeatedlycomes up, that will take you out of commission so that you cant really work - but temporarily. (think diabetics, pregnancy lol.. severe menstrual cramps)

Anyway once you have that form on file with H.R.

you can work 3 hours of your shift and then..

Eeeek Manager Mike - I need to go home... "IML" issue.. Oh wow, ughhh.. its bad.. clocking out - Sorry!, Ya I mentioned ILM right?  ok Bye.
