My daughter worked for Kroger in our town. She had her pay set up for direct deposit. Well,she quit due to inhospitable work environment/management. She was due to get her check today. And didn't receive it. And,when she checked the Kroger employee app. They had deleted her profile and everything. Will they still pay her via direct deposit? Or will her last check be mailed?

It will most likely be mailed. Direct deposit sometimes wont take effect till 3 weeks after you fill out the form.
