Didn't get paid properly for my vacation again

This is the second time this year this has happened. I put in my request for a vacation week. When the schedule for that week comes out, it says vacwreq or something like that in MyTime in purple. I'm assuming that's short for vacation week request. When I look at my paystub the following week, it only shows one day's pay (8 hours). It should be a week's vacation (40 hours). I don't know if it's management or payroll that's making the mistake. This is actually the third time this has happened to me. The first time was when MyTime was new and they were still learning it. The payroll person at the time told me it was because they put in the wrong pay code. After that one time, my vacation weeks were paid properly until this year. The last time this happened I was told to put my vacation in as vacation days. I'm not taking vacation days. I'm taking a week. If I put it in as days, then what do I do about the two remaining days in the week? Request them off and hope I get them? I know I'm not the only one this has happened to.

You have to request atleast 5 days of vacation in order to get paid for a week.  If you select 7 days, it will pay you 5.714(40hrs divided by 7) hours for each day or whatever your vacation hours are divided by 7.
Yes, the option says vacation week request but it only pays you for the day.
The MyTime program is written and used by many corporations and tweaked to fit the needs of kroger.  The tweeker writing the kroger code is still practicing.
We are still trying to get personal days to work right.  Fresh start says "everything can be done on mytime and you do not need to write a note or tell anyone about the requests"  It is a lie.  A person has to enter the request and then ask someone with schedule access to see if it is there.  Even tho it says submitted on the persons' mytime, no one else in the company sees the request.

 I've come to the conclusion that someone doesn't know what they're doing.  When it comes to Kroger though, it should probably be expected.

If you chose "vacation week", you were automatically scheduled five days vacation with two days off and paid accordingly.  Easy peasy.

With MyTime, scheduling a "vacation week" means you are only paid for that one particular specific day of the "vacation week".  That's it.

The broken part is that selecting it omits you from the schedule the rest of the week entirely unless you have selected 5 "vacation weeks" that week.

It's been a problem since the rollout of MyTime.

I don't think it's on purpose since Kroger isn't competent enough to weaponize it against employees.

OP here. We've been using My Time since last September. Until the start of this year when we got new management and a new payroll person, when you selected vacation week request and clicked on the Sunday of the week you wanted, you would get paid for the week. Yes, this was with My Time. The person putting the vacation week into the schedule is simply doing it wrong. When you think about it, when you select vacation week request and click on the Sunday of the week you want, any normal person would assume that you want off Sunday thru Saturday. That's why its called a WEEK request. Trust me, there is a way to get paid for a vacation week without having to select every day of the week.
