Just because you thieves think you're sly and can get away with it you no longer will be able to. Our store manager finally trespassed multiple regulars coming in to steal. I've seen them trespass multiple people this week alone (sep 2024). I would highly consider stopping your thieving if you don't want to get trespassed.
I grew up poor so I get it but we never stole. Never.
Part of the problem is that Kroger won't prosecute (unlike Publix.) I have been with my store almost 11 years and can count on one hand the number of times management has called the police, and even fewer on taking someone to court over stealing. I have even had customers tell me it is SO easy to steal from my store. Too many times we have had customers roll out with a cartload of groceries, load 'em up and drive off. This has to STOP!!

Not all Kroger owned stores uses the Ai also employees do still, too. I've seen an employee be stealing on a monthly based and the company don't do anything. I've seen an employee told an big ticket item during the time she was dating an department manager.
Kroger is so paranoid about employees stealing. (Having to have a Paid sticker on anything we buy on break.) It's not the employees but the CUSTOMERS. I just recently transferred out of a store that was #1 in shoplifting in our region. I don't understand why Kroger won't prosecute these people like Publix does.
