I recently got screwed over by the manager hiring another person into our department. I was not expecting him to put me in another time slot then screw me over with reduced hours. Now I'm having retaliation in hour reduction for no just cause and the union says they can't do anything about it. I got just caused fired from a job I was doing quite well for several years and now trying to get enough hrs from other places around the store.
Some positions are a bit more difficult to fill like super early 4/5/6 am starts. You people are not safe either.
If my manager fails to schedule me maximum capacity for my availablity one more time I'm filing an ethics report on his A$$. Discrimination.
