A Federal judge in Oregon ruled that the merger would indeed hurt consumers and limit competition too much. I rejoice. I like Albertson's and would not shop at their stores if they were enslaved by the evil k.  They have sued k for not doing whatever was needed to make the merger a thing, costing them money. That suit would probably make interesting reading. Also a warning to those who would do any kind of business with k.
