Saw what appeared to be an unsanctioned Santa Claus for lack of better words, walking around the store greeting shoppers. I assume Kroger can operate like Disney World and get unsanctioned personalities to exit the store. At Disney World, if a patron dresses up like a Disney character (like Tinkerbell), the dressed up patron can be kicked out of the park. I assume the same can be said about Santa Claus at Kroger?

Tinkerbell and other Disney characters are licensed characters. Santa Claus is not.
Easter they made one of the managers dress up as a bunny. Now that one creeped me out even some of the adults were a bit creeped out by that one.
I would NEVER dress up as ANY holiday character EVER.
It's NOT in my job description and I am NOT paid to act as them.
They tried to make me dress as a "prisoner in jail" to get donations to "make bail." I told them I'd rather not do that because it makes me look and feel foolish to "beg to be released" from "jail."
They then suggested I go home for the rest of the day, I told them I'm not going home as there is too much work in my dept to do.
What if the customer is a black male dressed up as Santa Claus. Won't that be disturbing since St. Nick was white? Won't that traumatize the kids and be grounds for Kroger management to kick them out of the store? Picture George Jefferson dressed as Santa and saying 'wheezy' when mentioning his Mrs. Claus.

I think black Santa Clauses are a form of cultural appropriation. Santa Claus comes from mainly Dutch and other European influences. Dutch people are white. Santa Claus is white. St. Nicholas was white too. Therefore, Santa Claus can only be white.
As a kid, I've always considered bring as santa is a magical guy, he can change his race to fit whatever culture he is visiting for Christmas.
After watching Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer show and after stop-watching how long it took to place presents at a single residence in that show, the math did not add up. There's no way you can spend that kind of time and visit every house in my city, let alone every residence in north America, before the sun rises.
Never saw a "colored" Santa. If a person can change their race that is a story in and of itself that is not limited to the Christmas season (pre-dates Michael Jackson). It's also a security risk to allow a "sled" to enter one's aerospace without getting shot down by either a missile or F-16 fighter jet (pre-dates Joe Biden and the China balloon episodes). I was a smart toddler. I didn't share my findings because I was smart not ruin a good thing with mom and dad doing presents for me. I was curious how Santa could take a sh-t during his nightly job. Never saw a built-in toilet on his sled. I asked my dad if he just plopped that stuff out when flying over non-populated areas. Never saw how an entire city of toys could fit in a sled as illustrated in the various Christmas shows. Stuff never added up.
