Work load is unevenly distributed.

People can make up or do what ever shift(s)/hours they want. Even if it means tons of over time.

We have two people who have ghost quit and they've even gone as far as to refuse to work. Due to union protection and management not doing anything; they keep getting away with it.

Our lead/manager is a hard worker but does not grasp the concept of "team". He often puts in 10+ hr days and has incredible anger issues and has been sent home once or twice because of it. He only works night crew shifts and leaves when the rest of us start.

Nothing gets done to the degree that the company requests. Product isn't rotated. Half the staff have no clue what to do. No one gets properly trained then habits set into cement and it's difficult to change them.

Scheduling is a mess. Hours are not evenly distributed. We brought the union in on this and it's just a long damn process to sort it out.

Our department is just one big clu--tter f*uck of a mess and there will be no staff by the end of this year if they don't fix it. It generally starts with lead by example.

*claps hands* I hate to say it but bravo kroger you managed to hire an alcoholic into this departments lead position each time you hired people in. These people always muck up eventually and often go out with a big story. You have successfully selected alcoholics into this position for the past 5 years. Bravo.

You're getting there, but you need to try harder and search the forum a little more.

The workload is unevenly distributed because slackers are purposely scheduled fewer hours by management.

Select-A-Sched is real.

There's no overtime.  Ever.

Leads NEVER get 10 hour days.  No overtime.  Ever.

Kroger will hire anyone.  Except pay, hours, and scheduling are so poor that we are struggling to retain the homeless.
