I filed an ethics report after having a third vacation not getting approved and paid for. Finding out I was not the only staff member with this issue. While some where favorite approved thus proving preferential treatment, my ethics that raised a wink to the big wig's bosses, our manager got a call from the district and he was pissed. Well that's your damn fault manager for refusing to approve any one's day's off or vacation pays. I'm just fighting for my rights and it's not like vacation hours go against store hours so there's zero reason why we shouldn't be getting vacation pay.

That manager should have been fired for violating the terms of the contract with the union. The contract has rules and regulations that both management and employees must follow. Without such agreement, management can do whatever they want.
