Personally, I think coupons should have no expiration date.  I mean the manufacturers issue the coupons with the intent for people to use them, right? As long as the person buys the product indicated on the coupon and doesn't try to use more than one coupon per item, it really shouldn't matter.  I get coupons from Kroger (we all do) based on things I buy using my plus card.  There might be a coupon for something I buy but I don't need right now.  Why can't I save the coupon and use it when I need it?

I learned as a cashier you have to be a bit of a hard a$$ when enforcing the rules. It is actually policy to price tag check upon challenge. I no longer give customers pitty as many of them lie, steal or work their way to get their way. That's a sin and God knows it! Even giving angry strife with employees is considered a sin. These sins are not taught in the churches so people do them.

I forgot to add in earlier:

You really need to watch this group, they'll take advantage of the system to any degree. They'll stab your back to get a deal even if they have to express a lie and blow it out of the water to get it.

I have had customers present coupons for products they have not purchased. One lady last week said "go ahead just give me the discount" and I declined and told her she had to buy the product for the coupon to be valid. The NERVE of some people!!
