Current employee here.  Manager at the store where I wanted to transfer to kept ducking me and wouldn't return my calls. Claimed he "didn't know what the transfer procedure was." Then claimed someone from inside the store took the job and said "store manager wanted to go in a different direction." This was after advertising the job on Indeed and the Kroger web page. Very strange. Called about 6-7 times and HR manager wouldn't return my call. What manager does NOT know what the transfer procedures are? Filed a complaint with Ethics Point. Has this ever happened to you?
