Get truck on a holiday night. Get told not to stock the truck just condition and leave and we will still be paid for full 8 hours and holiday pay also? People are scheduled 11-8 and leaving at 1 and being told they still get 8 hours paid plus holiday pay. Normal attendance/holiday pay for us is you get the holiday pay if you work all your shifts as scheduled.
Is this something that would happen? Does this make sense to anyone? Why would this happen it isn't inventory or anything. Didn't give any reason why we shouldn't stay and work the truck. Just told the entire crew not to.
That doesn't sound right to me. I hope you stayed your full 8 hours. Kroger is going to pay you according to what your timecard says. Is the time and attendance clerk going to go in and change everybody's timecard?
I did stay but nobody on my team stayed past 1. I was there with just me and the scanning person. Yes management said they will fix the time cards.
So, if they're going to cheat on employees' timecards, it makes you wonder what else they cheat on. If they had a legitimate reason, then it would be understandable. I just wonder why they wouldn't tell you. Was there something going on such as some type of maintenance or repair?
