Is he a jerk? That's what Kroger wants in a manager.
It's a female-with braids no less
Definitely a DEI hire. I've yet to see a black person who made a good manager. They always act like they're trying to prove something. Their race gets in the way.

They run big and mean, also quick-witted when some cover story is needed to keep law enforcement out. Kroger does not care about race or anything else. No matter how white you think you are, they want to enslave you.
In our store I think it is because our manager is black.
Probably. Blacks at Kroger never take responsibility for fking up. And if you try to question them about anything herp derp youre a racist!! its always the same with these people.
I've gotten at least 3 store managers fired or demoted and 1 district manager. I don't know what it is about my disability but they think they can start to harass me then try to use my schedule to push me out. Nope, not going any where any time soon. I've dealt with this bs most of my life and won't tolerate it very long. Due to the discrimination of the last manager I threatened to move foreword with an eeoc claim if they didn't do anything. He got demoted and then his life began to fall apart. His wife divorced him and he got kicked out so he had to find another residence.... I wanted to get even but not that even. The universe has a funny way of karma being a bi--tch from time to time. What you reap will be bestowed twice fold on you. People don't believe me when I tell them that until they experience it.

So they only protect you because of your disability?
