Please show up to work and stop calling out repeatedly. Thank you.
When you call out repeatedly it puts the work load on your coworkers and it becomes clear that you dont need the job all that badly. Please quit if you are going to call out for more than 20% of your shifts. That works out to one call out a week. More if you call out for 10 days straight due to a cold or flu bug. A few days here or there is understandable but not the whole 7-12 day duration of the cold itself. At that point it violates attendance policies and can get suspended for it.
if you have life long or ongoing health issues that flair up you can request reasonable accommodations. So long as they do not interfere with you doing your job duties.
Kroger is not a good career job but you still need to take it seriously.

I think calling out once a month is too much, let alone once a week. In 37 years I have missed a total of 6 days of work. Three of them were due to bad weather. Two were because I just didn't feel like working. The last one was due to injury.
