I've worked early mornings for the past 20 years.  In the past, whenever I worked the day after Valentine's Day, the floral department would be completely wiped out.  I mean there would be absolutely nothing left.  This morning the department looked completely full.  I noticed on Friday and Saturday there weren't very many people buying.  Of course what do you expect when you charge over a hundred dollars for a very basic floral arrangement?  I saw one arrangement that consisted of a half dozen roses, some greenery and some baby's breath in a plain glass vase for a hundred dollars.  I might have been willing to pay 40 dollars for it, but a hundred dollars is ridiculous.
