My location has had 6 remodels and each one i swear gets cheaper and cheaper. Our store has been gutted so many times you can see all the remodels and tear ups they did. It honestly still looks like crap despite all the remodels.
We went through a major expansion around 12 years ago. We went from having 20 aisles, which I thought was the perfect size, to having 60 aisles. Granted some of them, like the grug/gm aisles, are half size, but still. I used to think the store was too big. Twelve years later I still think it's too big. The breakroom is clear on the other side of the store from my department. When someone goes on break or lunch, you have have to allow them five extra minutes just for travel time to and from the breakroom.
Why? 1. Store doesn't make as much $ and those that do, "deserve" more. 2. If you're not a good little drone slave, can think for yourself, and have a good work ethic, you're not a good employee.
No. You're supposed to: Be a mindless drone worker. Be underpaid while "rewarded" with doing more but no extra pay. You're not a "TEAM" player if you don't. "There's no I in TEAM." the slightly higher up drones parrot. "No, but there is a ME."
DEI hires are everywhere. The rest of us see it. They get paid for goofing off, don't work much, and aren't fired for it. 99.99% of them are Blacks and Browns.
